Contact your energy company - if you are on a low income, you may be entitled to a lower tariff
The Government Warm Front scheme provides grants of up to £2700 to households on low incomes to help improve energy efficiency. For more information click here.

If you are aged 60 or over, you can receive the Winter Fuel Allowance to help pay the costs of keeping warm in the winter. If you are aged 60 to 79, you will receive either £125 or £250 this winter depending on your circumstances. If you are aged 80 or over, you will receive £200 or £400, depending on your circumstances.
