Patricia recently visited young female footballers in Leicester, who have signed up to the 'Bend it like Beckham' coaching programme.

'Bend it like Beckham' is designed to get more girls interested in becoming football stars of the future. The scheme is run at St. Margarets Pastures Sports Centre on St. Margarets Way during the school holidays.

Patricia said "I was very impressed watching these girls train, and in very hot conditions! They are proving they can match the boys on the pitch, and I am delighted to support this project."
